We are currently working with a market leading Insurance & Reinsurance company to recruit a BI & Transformation Analyst. The successful individual will help drive the evolution of the Finance & Actuarial function into an automated, data-driven department. Responsibilities include standardizing processes, application of new technology and leveraging digitisation and automation opportunities that deliver significant and visible benefits
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Review existing financial & actuarial processes to identify opportunities for automation and enhancements.
- Document solutions to mitigate key person risks and ensure solutions are simple and concise.
- Scope, design, build and test new solutions, utilising the latest tools and best practices to drive the finance & actuarial function transformation journey.
- Support the transition of new solutions from the development to the production phase, through delivering in-house training and shaping the development of support models.
- Work in partnership with IT to explore and on-board leading software solutions that enhance how the finance and actuarial function operate.
- Explore and leverage solutions being used across the group for the implementation.
- Assist with the development and population of financial models that produce P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow impacts, which support commercial business opportunities.
The ideal candidate should have;
- Full accounting or actuarial qualification.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VBA and Power Query.
- Intermediate knowledge of databases, such as SQL and Familiar with data preparation tools.
- Technical background in either Finance or Actuarial,
