BI Team Lead - Reed : Job Details

About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of BI professionals while driving data strategy and delivering high-quality insights. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring expertise in Azure SQL and Power BI, combined with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of BI Analysts and Developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Oversee the design and delivery of BI solutions using Power BI and Azure SQL.
• Define and implement best practices for data modeling, reporting, and governance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all BI processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new BI tools and technologies.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in a BI leadership or senior analyst role.
• Strong technical expertise in Azure SQL and Power BI (including advanced DAX and data modeling).
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.

Desirable:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based data integration tools.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics tools (Python, R) and machine learning concepts.
