Benefits Analyst
  • Daily Rate: £250 - £320 (via umbrella)
  • Location: City of London
  • Job Type: 12-month contract
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days working from home)

We are seeking a Pension & Benefits Analyst to join our team. This role involves supporting the Head of Payroll & Benefits with the administration of all pension and benefits. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for HR, employee, and ex-employee queries regarding pension and benefits matters.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the administration of all pension and benefits, including communication with employees, providers, and HR colleagues.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for resolving queries related to pensions and benefits, monitoring mailboxes and calls, and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Facilitate data transfer between iTrent, pension & benefit providers, and the internal Payroll team, identifying and resolving any anomalies.
  • Handle the processing of benefit invoices, reconciliation, and preparation of accrual and suspense account information.
  • Document the current invoice management process and identify potential improvements to secure and/or speed up the process.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with benefits providers, resolving data and invoice problems, and identifying improvements.
  • Prepare ad-hoc management reports and maintain UK data on the Global Benefits database.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for various Pension & Benefits projects.
  • Act as a backup for the Head of Payroll & Benefits / Benefit Specialist and document the process and operational procedure for benefits processing from end to end.
  • Report weekly to the manager on different activities/projects progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree level education.
  • Strong experience in pension & benefits administration with an understanding of how employee benefits operate.
  • Experience with the Benifex platform and MHR iTrent system.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and organise and prioritise own work.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and IF type functions.
