Behaviour Support Assistant Required – Primary School in Huddersfield

About the Role as Behaviour Support Assistant:

We are currently looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive and proactive Primary school in Huddersfield. The role involves working with children who have a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, and other behavioural and learning difficulties.

Our team has developed a strong reputation in the local area for delivering high-quality support, and we are now seeking another passionate individual to make a real difference in pupils’ lives.

Your Role as Behaviour Support Assistant Will Involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Collaborating with other support staff to engage students and reduce classroom disruption
• Giving regular feedback to teachers and parents/carers
• Supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, and other learning needs in line with EHCPs and school targets

• Adaptable, proactive, and calm under pressure – no two days are the same!
