We are seeking a resilient, compassionate and proactive Behaviour Support Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Basildon this September.

About the Role:You'll work closely with the SENCO, class teacher and pastoral team to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups-helping them self-regulate, engage in learning and thrive socially and emotionally.

What you'll be doing:? Supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural needs? Using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies? Creating a calm, safe and structured environment? Building strong, trusted relationships with pupils? Helping every child feel seen, heard and valued

What we're looking for:? Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour (school, youth work or care settings welcome)? Calm, consistent and confident approach? Ability to engage positively and set clear boundaries? Team player with excellent communication skills? Available full-time from September 2025
