We're looking for a Business Development Manager for a Freight Forwarder based in Manchester. This role would suit someone with an existing portfolio and can bring business with them.The role is working for an established company who have a good reputation and competitive margins. They have a longstanding operations team so you can be sure that customers are well looked after.You must have experience is selling within Freight forwarding and have existing business to bring. This would be ideal for someone who has been considering setting up alone but needs the financial stability which this business can bring.Main duties to include:
- Generate new business opportunities
- Promote Air, Road and Sea services
- Meet with customers face to face
- Generate proposals and quotations
- Represent the company in a professional way at all times
We are looking for:
- Knowledge of Air, Sea or Road Freight
- Experience of working at a Freight Forwarder
- Someone who seeks out new business opportunities
- Strong relationship building skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
