In this pivotal role, you’ll drive revenue growth by shaping and delivering a forward-looking, globally integrated business development approach. Partnering closely with senior stakeholders, client relationship leads, and cross-practice teams, you’ll help ensure the firm remains at the forefront of market trends and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sector Strategy:
- Develop and implement the Consumer & Sports sector strategy aligned with wider business goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to track performance and adapt to market changes.
- Drive Go-to-Market Campaigns:
- Execute multi-practice, multi-regional BD initiatives and targeted campaigns for high-value clients.
- Leverage Insight and Analytics:
- Use data to identify high-potential opportunities, monitor client behaviour, and inform strategic targeting.
- White-Space & Client Development:
- Conduct white-space analysis, identify relationship gaps, and develop account action plans to grow key client relationships.
- Pitch & Engagement Support:
- Oversee sector-aligned pitches and submissions, ensuring relevance, quality, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Experience:
- Significant BD/marketing experience in a professional services or legal environment, ideally with Consumer or Sports sector exposure.
- Proven success in developing and delivering sector strategies that drive growth.
- Strong experience in client development, cross-selling, and relationship management.
- Data-driven, analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and senior stakeholders.
- Team leadership experience and a collaborative, global outlook.
