Barrister - Claimant Personal Injury - Achieve Professionals : Job Details

Achieve Professionals are currently seeking a talented Barrister to join a busy advocacy team within a reputable Manchester law firm.

Experience & Responsibilities:

• Undertake advocacy
• Undertake drafting tasks as required such as advices, pleadings and skeleton arguments
• Keep up to date with procedural changes, case law and developments in legislation
• Assist less experienced advocates
• Ensure the provision of high quality advocacy service
• Travel across England and Wales that may require overnight stays - own car preferred (travel expenses will be paid)

Skills & Attributes:

• Current practising certificate
• Higher Rights of Audience (if applicable)
• Strong knowledge of CPR
• Flexible approach
• Able to think and perform under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and Case Management System knowledge.
