A well-established, high-quality gastropub and restaurant in the Derbyshire area is looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead its busy, well-loved venue. This isn’t a “behind the bar every night” role – it’s about running the show, keeping standards sky-high, and making sure every drink, every glass, and every customer experience hits the mark.

What you’ll need:

• Strong bar management experience in a busy, premium venue
• Cocktail, wine, and beer knowledge
• Excellent customer-facing skills and a natural ability to lead a team
• A polished, professional appearance with obsessive attention to detail
• Pride in maintaining cleanliness and order at all times

The offer:

• £32,000–£35,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• £35,000–£38,000 OTE including TRONC
• 45-hour contract per week
• Bonus potential of up to £2,500 per year for GP management (after probation)
• 3-month probation period
• Christmas Day is part of the rota – you’ll work it (everyone does), but it’s paid at double time, no more than 6 hours, and you’ll be home by 6pm with a full belly and a healthy payslip
