Banking & Finanace Associate - Interlink Talent Solutions : Job Details

Here at Interlink we are now looking for a Banking & Finance Associate (3 - 7 years of experience) to participate in the development of this growing banking & finance department based in London.

The firm also covers real estate, residential conveyancing, corporate, commercial, private wealth, employment, succession planning and family law.

The Role

• The team advise bridging lenders, alternative lenders, challenger banks, family offices, developers and property companies on all of their banking and property finance needs.
• This is varying from residential investment, residential development, commercial investment and commercial development.
• They also cover loan on loans and back to back funding arrangements, mezzanine financing and LMA style transactions across the entire capital stack.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Successful experience of 2 - 6 years in a firm as a Banking & Finance Lawyer.
• Experience in Regulatory matters and Real Estate Finance would be an asset.
• Strong technical skills needed to support the client work of the department.
• Ability to be a team player and participate actively in the development of the Banking Department.

Experience in:

• General Banking
• Corporate Lending
• Project Finance work
• Acquisition Finance
• Secured Lending or
• Real estate/property finance

Familiarity with:

• Loan on Loan Agreements
• Credit agreements
• Security documents; and
• Inter-creditor agreements/deeds of priority
• Highest working standards with strong service orientation - a "client first" culture
• Excellent written communication and drafting skills are required; as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative and pro-activity;
• Strong analytical skills and a pragmatic approach
• Business development;
• Human qualities, open-minded and dynamic
