We need talented passionate people who care about customers to make that happen.With over 30 years in the industry, HomeLet is one of the leading brands that support the UK’s vibrant private rented sector.As part of the prestigious PIB Insurance Group, we are based in Lincoln, with more than 300 dedicated team members working hard every day to support letting agents, landlords and tenants across the whole of the UK.As the UK’s largest tenant referencing and Insurance firm in the sector, we pride ourselves in providing fast, accurate and reliable products, to tenants, landlords and letting agents - we've referenced more than a million tenants over the last three years!Team of Innovative, hardworking, fun industry experts that take pride in delivering an outstanding level of service with a consultative approach to maximising all business opportunities.MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:Win, Retain & GrowResponsible for the growth of our overall agent base by demonstrating a consistent and sustained increase in sales of our key product range across the overall agent base which supports the delivery of the overall budgeted targets.Identify, develop, own, and deliver on growth strategies that supports not only growth to the agent base but to the overall volume of products sales across our proposition.Drive and manage the B2B customer development team to increase profitability of the existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible ensuing they are “Fit for the future”.Drive the sales team in reducing customer losses and increasing customer loyalty that maintains the active agent base.Drive and manage the B2B new business team to grow the agent base by securing identified agent opportunities of a certain size within the marketplace and growing the overall agent base year on year.Build relationships and identify new Market opportunities from new and existing customers maintaining strong relationships.Deliver marketing campaigns to provide innovative ways to engage the customer, obtain feedback, incentivise their loyalty and sales; providing the personal touch..Drive Change – should areas of our proposition or service prove challenging for our customer base ensure communication is shared and demonstrate ownership of all issues until resolved.Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall sales growth across our Letting Agent customer base, in line with business targets
- Proactively maintain and increase the agent base across Barbon by demonstrating a clear strategy to increase sales month on month.
- Identify business initiatives to help stimulate engagement from agents and drive development opportunities for profitable growth.
- Manage sales pipelines to achieve targets by monitoring customer preferences to determine focus on sales efforts and maximise sales performance.
- Increase profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible ensuring all customers are maximising the full “Fit for the future” proposition.
- Deliver and manage growth campaigns for both the acquisition of customers and the growth of current product volumes.
- Support in creating and delivering a robust contact and sales strategy across the agent base.
- Identify and analyse key data to evaluate and validate growth initiatives and retention activity levels with agents.
- Recommend solutions and implement actions plans to support agent retention and the growth of our overall agent base.
- Identify, develop, and support agent education and training so that agents feel that they are fully supported and able to maximise on every element of our proposition.
- Drive each individual to ensure they are managing their area effectively by identifying opportunities to deliver growth.
- Complete strong performance management processes and using supporting documentation for 1-1’s, coaching and development plans.
- Set clear goals and objectives that drives the team to achieve business and personal goals.
- Monitor and report on individual and teams’ performance against sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by the FCA by keeping up to date with all change in the regulatory framework.
- Ownership of monthly reporting and to present findings, potential solutions, and new ideas to increase customer engagement, conversion rates and therefore achieving budget lines.
- Be seen as a role model within the Sales team and within all areas of the business and share best practice wherever possible. Lives and breathes the Barbon company values.
- To demonstrate a detailed knowledge of current market conditions and key customers in the lettings industry.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by the FCA by keeping up to date with all change in the regulatory framework.
- Schedule appropriate sales training and ensure implementation is effective.
- Complete accurately all Sales complaints and grumbles – investigating and resolving queries and issues raised and escalating where possible.
- Responsible for managing reporting to Sales leadership and business senior management team to demonstrate value delivered from sales team and ongoing strategic initiatives
- Update Competitor Information regularly and share with sales colleagues.
- Complete accurately CRM system Salesforce to record activity and progress
