Azure Data Engineer (Remote - occasional travel)

We are looking for a number skilled Data Engineer to support the growth of data and AI services. You will design and build data platforms, pipelines, and models, while following best practices and ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data platforms, pipelines, and models for analytics and ML.
- Deliver greenfield, migration, and modernisation projects.
- Identify and build reusable components.
- Collaborate with technical teams and partners to meet business needs.
- Contribute to pre-sales, proposals, and thought leadership activities.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and maintaining data platforms and ETL/ELT solutions.
- Solid knowledge of Databricks, Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, Azure and/or AWS.
- Data modelling expertise (Inmon, Kimball, Data Vault).
- Familiar with DataOps practices and pipeline monitoring.
- Experience with sensitive data and applying security/privacy best practices.
- Consulting background preferred.
