Our client is a prestigious offshore bank who offer bespoke solutions to a discerning client base. A requirement has arisen for an experienced AVP Operational Risk Manager to join the team - either in the Channel Islands or in London.

Duties and Responsibilities of an AVP Operational Risk Manager

• Support the execution of the Operational Risk management programme
• Develop Operational Risk frameworks
• Assist with the oversight of the Operational Risk team including providing advice and guidance to the business
• Maintain the risk incident process and provide oversight of the complaints handling process
• Monitor and report on risk exposures using key risk indicators
• Deploy a risk and control self-assessment programme
• Update policies and procedures and undertake business impact assessments
• Provide training and assist on projects

Attributes and Qualities needed for an AVP Operational Risk Manager

You will have 6-8 years Operational Risk experience ideally gained from a banking background. You must have an understanding of the relevant Channel Islands rules and regulations. Salary: Up to £70K plus bonus, benefits and hybrid working.
