Aftersales – Complaints Handler

Location: Enfield, EN1 (first 3 weeks based in Watford)

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Two Saturdays per month: 9:00am – 3:00pm

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 base bonuses (OTE £35,000 – £40,000 per annum)

The Role

As an Aftersales Complaints Handler, you’ll be central to our customer experience journey. You’ll take ownership of post-sale complaints, working with empathy and professionalism to resolve issues quickly and fairly. Collaborating with our workshop, service, and management teams, your goal will be to turn challenges into positive outcomes and help us maintain our reputation for 5-star service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer complaints relating to recently purchased vehicles.
  • Arrange diagnostics and repairs, liaising closely with the Workshop Controller.
  • Keep customers updated throughout the process, managing expectations clearly.
  • Reduce vehicle return rates by resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Encourage satisfied customers to leave positive reviews.
  • Accurately document all cases and resolutions in the system.
  • Provide feedback to management to improve complaint handling processes.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a used car dealership or automotive aftersales role.
  • Knowledge of vehicle finance, warranties, and repair processes.
  • Understanding of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and motor trade compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Calm and confident under pressure, with strong organisational ability.
  • A customer-first mindset with a professional and empathetic approach.
