Overview:We're looking for a skilled DevOps/Automation Engineer with strong experience in storage automation to join a high-performing infrastructure team within a major enterprise environment in Central London. This is a hands-on role focused on building automated workflows, implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and delivering end-to-end storage provisioning, monitoring, and policy enforcement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows for storage provisioning and deprovisioning.
Implement policy enforcement mechanisms for storage utilisation, access, and compliance.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for storage infrastructure configuration and deployment.
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions (e.g., using Terraform, Ansible) for scalable and repeatable storage provisioning.
Integrate monitoring dashboards and alerting systems (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK) to ensure visibility into storage health and performance.
Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and cloud teams to align automation with operational goals.
Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, resilience, and compliance.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Automation Engineer in an enterprise environment.
Strong skills in automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Experience integrating with storage platforms and APIs
Strong background in monitoring and alerting tools
Knowledge of ITIL practices, configuration management, and compliance controls.
Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Familiarity with storage tiering, provisioning best practices, and automation frameworks.
