We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Autism Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who have Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them to access the curriculum, develop social skills, and build confidence.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with autism.
• Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
• Use a range of communication strategies including PECS, Makaton, or visual timetables.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.

• Experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs (SEN).
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for inclusive education.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Autism Awareness training) are desirable but not essential.
