Job Purpose:
To ensure that client matters are managed promptly, consistently, and to a high standard, meeting all relevant deadlines and supporting senior management in delivering outstanding service to clients.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain strong, professional client relationships
- Communicate with clients, prospects, and third parties in a professional manner
- Take ownership of audits and accounts preparation for assigned clients
- Stay updated with accounting standards and regulatory changes through reading, research, and training
- Maximise billing and profitability on audit/accounts engagements
- Identify and monitor opportunities for cross-selling additional services
- Provide proactive support to senior team members
- Assist with completing or resolving unfinished tasks
Audit, Accounting, Tax, and Company Secretarial Work:
- Plan, complete, and finalise audits and accounts preparation assignments, including:
- Budget planning and monitoring
- Reviewing the work of junior staff
- Finalising financial statements
- Presenting completed files for review
- Ensure client-approved adjustments are reflected in their accounting systems
- Understand the commercial aspects, such as billing and collections
- Tailor work programmes to align with the client’s business and risk environment
- Ensure timely completion of company secretarial duties, including updating statutory records and filings
Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and allocate workload effectively within the team
- Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to junior staff
- Identify and resolve queries or issues proactively
- Keep stakeholders informed and ensure early identification and resolution of issues
- Delegate responsibilities with clear expectations and offer timely performance feedback
Communication:
- Regularly update management on progress of work
- Respond promptly to client and internal queries
- Clarify expectations and deadlines to help prioritise tasks
- Resolve client queries and complaints to a high standard
- Draft client communications and documentation as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication
Business Development:
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives for attracting new business
- Identify and pursue opportunities to win new clients
- Maintain knowledge of the firm’s services and promote them to clients
- Assist in preparing fee quotations and proposals
- Support compliance efforts, including the collection of required documentation for anti-money laundering
