About the Role

As an Audit Senior, you will play an important part in delivering high-quality audit services to a wonderfully varied mix of clients. You will work with owner-managed businesses, sole traders, companies, and partnerships across sectors such as charities, manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality. This role is a great opportunity to build lasting client relationships while growing your expertise in auditing standards and best practice.We are open to this role being based at any of our offices across the South West, including Swindon, Bath, Trowbridge, Cirencester, Chippenham, Bristol and Taunton

What You Will Be Doing:

• Actively engage with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their business.
• Be the main point of contact for clients during audit engagements, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
• Lead audit engagements for a portfolio of clients, including planning, execution, and completion.Identify risk areas and finalise all aspects of audit assignments under the supervision of a manager or partner.
• Support and guide junior team members, review their work, and ensure audit objectives are achieved.
• Ensure full compliance with external audit requirements.

• Qualified Accountant: ACA/ACCA or equivalent
• Audit Practice Experience: experience in an audit and accounts practice, including an understanding of regulatory obligations and quality standards.
• Risk Assessment: experience in identifying and assessing risks and implementing effective controls.
• Client Management: Strong client relationship management skills, able to build and maintain long-term relationships.
