The role:

Reed Practice have, as a preferred recruitment partner, been engaged to assist in recruiting an Audit Assistant.  Located in their modern offices in Ipswich, the Audit Assistant is an exceptionally valuable team member in the Corporate Services team.  Your tasks will include:

• Undertake audit work to a high standard with minimal supervision
• Assist in the preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements (primarily UK GAAP) and tax computations.

You will maintain good working relationships with client’s and their staff and keep abreast of the firms’ services with a view to identifying potential further business opportunities.

The individual:

Still in training, you will either have just passed Level 4 AAT or be part way through your ACCA/ACA studies.

You will be, or have recently been, working in an accountancy practice in an audit trainee role, with experience of providing the above services to both commercial and not for profit organisations.

To be successful in this role you will have outstanding organisational skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels, maintain a high level of confidentiality, and be an ideas person, a problem solver.
