About the RoleThis is a dynamic position offering real scope to develop your technical expertise and external profile. You’ll lead audits from planning through to completion, oversee client engagement teams, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

The portfolio spans local, national, and international clients—including some of East Anglia’s most significant businesses—giving you exposure to a broad and varied range of work.

While audit work will be your primary focus, you’ll also support clients with accounts preparation and corporation tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and review audit assignments to deliver high-quality files
  • Oversee day-to-day work on engagements; mentor and develop team members
  • Communicate progress and findings to clients, building strong relationships
  • Monitor engagement profitability and assist with tenders and presentations
  • Participate in networking and business development activities

What We’re Looking For

  • ICAEW/ACCA qualified or QBE with recent UK practice experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit (FRS102, UK GAAP)
  • Proven experience planning and leading audits
  • Skilled in audit/accounting software (CCH experience advantageous)
  • Confident communicator with client-facing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and delegate effectively
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
