Role Responsibilities

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Supervising and developing junior team members, conducting reviews and providing feedback
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
• Ensuring compliance with auditing standards and internal quality procedures
• Overseeing budget management, workflow, and job scheduling
• Supporting senior leadership in managing client relationships and delivering advisory input
• Reviewing accounts preparation work if in a blended role

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Currently working at assistant manager level within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong experience in audit (accounts experience beneficial)
• Excellent technical knowledge and up-to-date understanding of UK accounting/audit standards
• Good leadership, organisational, and client communication skills
• Proactive, motivated, and capable of managing work independently and as part of a team

• £60,000 to £75,000 per annum
