You’ll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and, managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value.
We're looking for Assistant Managers with data analytics and reporting experience to join on Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance team within Audit Learning & Development.
You will:
Support the Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance Manager with the coordination of programme and facilitator evaluations, the management of the assessments process for all staff and partners and appropriate measurement and reporting of performance
Support the Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance Manager on all compliance processes, ensuring that the risks to the function and the wider stream are effectively managed
Report on L&D KPIs as appropriate to Audit L&D leadership and the wider firm / governance to help drive effective delivery against the L&D strategy
Support day-to-day monitoring and reporting on all Audit L&D programmes
Support the Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance Manager on response to all internal and external compliance requests (with appropriate review and sign off from the Audit L&D Leadership Team)
Support the Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance Manager to provide regular updates on the status of compliance with regulatory requirements and the overall Audit L&D plan
Support on response to all internal and external compliance requests
Support the effective management of target audiences and review and monitoring of completions
Support with the maintenance of the ISQM 1 documentation and coordinate all systems, processes and controls within the framework
Support the development of L&D KPIs to help demonstrate the value generated by Audit L&D and to evidence progress against plans
Support the Learning & Faculty Coordinators and L&D Projects Assistants with ongoing operational reporting requirements to the stream, providing coaching as needed
Support the development of appropriate compliance processes to support the ongoing operations of the function
Support the Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance Manager with the response to all L&D data requests into the function (internal and external)
Bring the latest thinking and innovation to the business to support the effective monitoring and reporting of programmes (and the curriculum) and using this to share insights with the Audit Stream and wider L&D function
Bring the latest thinking and innovation to the business to support the efficacy of systems, processes and controls within the function
Advocate change where needed, leading by example and seeking support as appropriate
Required skills and experience
Assistant Manager (or equivalent) preferably with some previous data analytics or reporting experience
Experience of working in a regulated environment would be beneficial
Strong data-analytics, project management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Understanding of the latest innovation, tools and technology to support data analytics / evidence-based analysis
Ability to think outside the box and push the approach to reporting L&D within the Stream, creating sensible measures to illustrate our progress
Ability to work through issues and create pragmatic, sensible and commercial solutions
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Power BI or similar would be beneficial
Understanding of business strategy and goals and a focus on delivering effectively against these
