This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven senior audit professional looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, forward-thinking practice.As Audit Director, you’ll play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the audit offering across the region. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage a diverse portfolio of clients, and work closely with Partners to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services to a range of exciting businesses — from ambitious owner-managed companies to large national and international groups.This role offers the scope to progress to Partner for the right individual.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of complex audit engagements across a range of sectors
• Drive quality and technical excellence, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and firm policies
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, providing commercial insight and strategic advice
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Bristol audit practice
• Lead, coach, and develop audit managers and teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
• Work closely with other service lines to deliver joined-up solutions to clients

About You

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Significant experience leading audit engagements within a reputable professional services firm
• Strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of audit and financial reporting standards
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Commercially astute, with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities
• A confident communicator, with the presence and credibility to engage at board level
