Description

• Leading and managing a portfolio of varied audit clients
• Conducting research and analysis of financial statements
• Preparing audit plans and ensuring they are properly executed to finalisation
• Liaising with clients to discuss and resolve audit findings
• Reviewing and supervising the work of junior team members
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and procedures across UKGAAP/IFRS and FRS102
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements

Profile

A successful Audit Assistant Manager / Senior should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent
• Proven experience based in the UK in a similar audit role within practice
• Audit focused background with experience particularly within the client corporate sectors
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Must have the right to work in the UK
