Role OverviewThe Audit Assistant Manager will play a key role within the Business Advisory Services Department, managing audit teams on-site, acting as the main point of contact for clients during fieldwork, and keeping senior management informed throughout the audit process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit fieldwork and manage client relationships
  • Assess audit risks and tailor approaches accordingly
  • Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements
  • Review junior team members’ work and provide feedback
  • Prepare draft financial statements and disclosures
  • Address audit queries and adjustments professionally
  • Stay up to date with technical and regulatory developments

Working Arrangements

  • 35-hour work week (Mon–Fri, 09:30–17:30)
  • Hybrid model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, CA (or equivalent) qualification
  • Proven experience leading audits from planning to completion
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and technical proficiency
  • Familiarity with audit software (e.g., Excel, Audit Automation, CCH, Caseware)
