Audit & Accounts Trainee / Junior Semi-Senior

Location: Victoria, LondonSalary: £35,000 DOEHybrid: 3 days office, 2 days home (after 6-month probation)

Are you in the early stages of your career in audit and accounts, with 12-24 months' experience under your belt? This well-established accountancy practice in Victoria is looking for someone just like you - ambitious, eager to learn, and ready to take on more responsibility without being thrown in at the deep end.

About the Firm

A supportive and friendly team of 25, known for nurturing talent and developing well-rounded professionals. They provide structured ACA or ACCA study support (via Kaplan), use leading software (HAT for audit, Iris, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero), and work with a diverse client base of SMEs and OMBs.

The Role

This position offers a balanced mix of audit and accounts work across varied sectors. You'll:

• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and support audit fieldwork
• Gain hands-on exposure to both audit and accounts assignments
• Work closely with senior staff and managers to develop your technical skills
• Use modern software to deliver accurate and compliant work

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Around 12-24 months in audit/accounts within a small to medium-sized practice
• Mindset: Motivated, proactive, and keen to develop your technical knowledge
• Skills: Basic experience preparing accounts and assisting with audits (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Iris a bonus)
• Qualifications: Ideally AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA early-stage student (study support available)
