On behalf of a portfolio of well-established accountancy practices, we are currently recruiting for a range of exciting opportunities across Audit, Accounts, and Tax functions. We are particularly keen to speak with individuals seeking roles that combine both audit and accounts, or those open to multi-disciplinary positions across practice areas.
Current Opportunities:? Qualified Audit Senior / Experienced Semi-SeniorLeading statutory audits from planning through to completion
Working with a broad client base including SMEs and larger corporate entities
Supervising junior team members
Preparing audit files and ensuring compliance with ISA standards
Preparing year-end statutory accounts
Producing management accounts, VAT returns, and bookkeeping
Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
Using software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.
Hybrid roles offering a 50/50 or tailored split between audit and accounts responsibilities
Ideal for candidates looking for variety and progression in both areas
Exposure to a broad and diverse portfolio
Reviewing work of juniors and seniors across audit/accounts
Client relationship management
Planning and budgeting of engagements
Supporting partners with practice development and strategy
Opportunity to develop your own client portfolio
Handling personal and corporate tax returns
Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects
Working closely with clients and ensuring compliance with current tax legislation
Overseeing tax compliance and advisory work
Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients
Providing mentorship to junior staff
Supporting the practice in identifying tax planning opportunities
ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent (or qualified by experience)
Previous experience in a accountancy practice UK or abroad
Strong client communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines and multitask across projects
Proficiency with accounting and audit software packages
