Audit & Accounts Senior - Bicester - £48,000 to £53,000

Tired of ticking boxes with no real client impact? This Bicester-based firm gives growing businesses clear, proactive, personal advice - and they need an Audit & Accounts Senior to help deliver it.

In this role you'll lead audits from planning to sign-off, prepare accounts for a wide mix of SMEs and charities, and work directly with Directors who value your ideas. It's a chance to build strong client relationships, shape how work is delivered, and still get home on time.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing statutory accounts for companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Leading audits in line with ISAs, including client site visits
• Drafting corporation tax computations and identifying key issues
• Coaching trainees and building their technical skills
• Working closely with Managers and Directors on client delivery
• Staying up to date with accounting and legislative changes

What you'll need

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong audit and accounts experience in practice
• Solid understanding of UK company audit requirements
• Skilled with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Kashflow or CCH Audit Automation is a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and confident communication skills

The offer

• £48,000 - £53,000 depending on experience
• 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.00pm)
• Bicester office base with occasional travel to client sites
