Audit/Accounts Senior - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyYour new company, is an established accountancy practice with offices in Bristol Your new roleIn your new role you will join the team in an Audit/Accounts senior role split 50/50. Within audit, you will assist in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of external audit. Within the accounts, you will prepare and produce statutory accounts and VAT returns, liaising with the client/director where required to ensure successful completion. In this role you will manage your own portfolio and liaise directly with directors. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role you will need to be a qualified accountant ACA or ACCA. This role will suit an individual who is newly qualified (or a finalist) looking to move into a position with more progression potential. You will need previous practice experience, and have a strong understanding of accounts production, VAT returns and the external audit process from start to finish. You will need to be confident, articulate and have a keen eye for detail. You will need to be able to build and maintain client relationships. What you'll get in returnIn return you will receive a very competitive salary of up to £38,000 and will get a great opportunity to work in a senior role for an exciting accountancy practice. You will hold a good amount of responsibility as you will manage your own client portfolio and work closely with senior managers for the firm.
