Job Description :

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements within a professional services environment. Based near Bingley, the role will focus on ensuring compliance, delivering excellence, and fostering client relationships. This is a 50;50 split between accounts and audit.

Description

  • Proactively lead and manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
  • Plan, execute, and complete audit and accounts assignments in line with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing training and development support.
  • Review work and ensure high-quality deliverables, reporting to directors.
  • Attend client and prospect client meetings, build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
  • Working alongside the leadership team, liaising with internal departments to provide an unrivalled client experience.
  • Contribute to business development and the growth of the firm including tactical input in the firm's own strategic plans.
  • Assisting the directors with ad hoc advisory services and special work.
  • Manage work in progress and billing including agreement of fees on your portfolio of engagements.

Profile

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience in audit and accounts.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Job Offer

  • £50,000 - £60,000 per year depending on experience, salary sacrifice pension and benefits package.
