Role Overview :

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced and results-driven AV Sales Manager to be a key part of our Germany team, representing proAV, leading business development and driving sales growth of our professional audiovisual solutions across Germany. This senior-level role is responsible for expanding market presence, cultivating strategic customer relationships, and delivering innovative AV solutions tailored to diverse client needs across sectors including corporate, education, government, and hospitality.The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of AV technology, excellent sales skills, and a strong network within the corporate, hospitality, education, and government sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced AV Sales Manager to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy that aligns with company goals, focused on revenue growth, market penetration, and long-term client retention in the AV integration space.
  • Analyse regional market dynamics, customer trends, and emerging opportunities to refine go-to-market strategies and maintain competitive positioning.

Business Development & Relationship Management:

  • Identify, target, and win high-value business opportunities by nurturing relationships with AV consultants, system integrators, enterprise clients, and senior decision-makers.
  • Proactively build and manage a robust sales pipeline through lead generation, referrals, and strategic outreach efforts.
  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for clients throughout the sales lifecycle.

Client Solutions & Account Management:

  • Oversee a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring the delivery of bespoke AV integration solutions that support client goals and technical requirements.
  • Provide strategic consultation to clients, understanding their unique needs and aligning them with our AV technology offerings and services.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with technical design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure the seamless execution of AV integration projects—from scope definition to delivery.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset across departments to enhance the client experience and drive satisfaction.

Market Representation & Brand Building:

  • Represent the company as a brand ambassador in Germany, attending and speaking at relevant industry events, trade shows (e.g., ISE, InfoComm), and networking forums.
  • Build strong visibility for the brand and establish a reputation for quality, innovation, and reliability in the German AV market.

Sales Execution & Performance:

  • Own the entire sales cycle from lead qualification and needs assessment to solution presentation, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales KPIs, revenue targets, and account growth objectives.

Personal skills:

  • Deep knowledge of the German AV market, including established relationships with integrators, consultants, and enterprise clients.
  • Strong experience in solution selling, especially for tailored AV systems and services.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote/field-based capacity, with regular travel across Germany and occasionally abroad.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Familiarity with AV control systems, unified communications, video conferencing, digital signage, and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable skills:

  • Existing network and contacts in the German AV market.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Germany.
  • Experience working with multinational clients.
