Attributes Refinement Performance Engineer - 39284 - £25.96 per hour umbrella rate

Do you have vehicle engineering experience, and are you seeking a new job in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit an Attributes Refinement Performance Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of £25.96 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35).

The NVH Attributes Refinement Team you will be working with is responsible for strategy, methods, targets, testing, detection and resolution, specifically for the attributes of Squeak & Rattle and Water and Air Ingress across the full vehicle, systems and components.

In your first week in this Performance Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Work cross-functionally throughout design, development, manufacturing, launch and during the customer experience
• Work on problem resolutions for vehicle line activities in all aspects of engineering
• Contribute to the delivery of quality targets for each vehicle line.

Applicants will need previous experience of problem-solving tools. e.g., root cause analysis, 8 disciplines of problem-solving, design of experiments, and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) in design/manufacturing. You will also need:

• Previous experience in vehicle launch or plant vehicle operations
• Production management, including experience delivering problem resolutions in manufacturing and service
• Excellent analytical skills, able to deliver results under pressure.
