Attendance Officer - Oldham - ASAPLocation: OldhamStart Date: September 2025Pay: £105-£120/dayHours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

We're seeking a proactive Attendance Officer to monitor and improve student attendance and punctuality. You'll work closely with students, parents, school staff, and external agencies to address attendance issues and promote a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring & Data: Track daily attendance, analyse patterns, and maintain accurate records.
• Support & Intervention: Communicate with families, arrange support, conduct home visits, and help students reintegrate after absences.
• Collaboration: Work with social services, health professionals, and other agencies.
• Safeguarding: Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and address child protection concerns.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Full driving licence (for home visits)
• Experience working with young people (references required)
• Recent Safeguarding, Prevent, Behaviour Management & FGM training (can be provided)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Right to Work in the UK and two professional references
