Associate / VP - European Real Estate Debt Lending - eFinancialCareers - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

Our client is an established debt fund, that has funded over £3bn of real estate debt transactions. The team can finance deals across Europe, both investment and development finance, and loans up to £150m.

Main responsibilities:

• Supporting the Relationship Director with holistic relationship management with accountability for business development, service, risk and operational delivery. Particular focus is on supporting transaction structuring and forming Heads of Terms.
• Seek new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships to identify new business opportunities ensuring the focus is on growing the business sustainably, by identifying opportunities to expand a portfolio and broadening client relationships by leveraging the firms extensive network
• Global Standards - Manage regulatory and reputational risk, ensure business adherence throughout the client lifecycle by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring, escalating and mitigating risk
• Build a strong understanding of the client's business and industry to promote insights, enrich client conversations and deliver fair outcomes

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven track record in a client focused environment in a Real Estate debt lending team.
• Strong knowledge of the economic and market environment with an ability to demonstrate how this impacts the Real Estate Financing market across Europe.

Credit underwriting and lending experience is essential.
