Job Description :

My client is looking for an Associate People Business Partner to be the cornerstone of day-to-day HR operations within your designated areas. Day-to-day of the role:
  • First Point of Contact – HR Support: Serve as the first line of support for managers and colleagues on day-to-day HR queries, providing clear, timely, and practical advice. Escalate complex matters to the Senior People Business Partner as needed.
  • Business Partnering: Build trusted relationships with operational managers and teams, supporting the delivery of local people plans and initiatives that align with operational priorities.
  • Employee Relations: Provide initial advice and guidance on low to moderate complexity ER cases, ensuring fair processes and timely resolution. Prepare necessary documentation and attend formal meetings as required.
  • People Projects & Culture: Support the roll-out of people projects and engagement activities, such as surveys, wellbeing initiatives, and inclusion campaigns.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the wider People Team to ensure a joined-up approach to the employee experience and identify opportunities for improvements to policies and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience. MCIPD is desirable.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a generalist HR role providing first-line advice on day-to-day queries. Experience in healthcare or a regulated sector is desirable.
  • Skills & Knowledge: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, good problem-solving skills, and sound judgement. Confident IT skills, including HR systems and Microsoft Office. Understanding of NHS or public sector terms and conditions is a plus.
