Excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to step into a leading position, and play a key part in in the growth of an expanding M&E team within an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + package benefits

Job Description:

The Resolute Group is proud to be working in partnership with an international engineering and design consultancy, supporting the strategic growth of their M&E division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior or Associate Electrical Engineer to take on a key leadership role within the Data Centre Projects team, with responsibility for project delivery, technical oversight, and client engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical engineering design and delivery of major data centre projects across the UK and Europe
• Oversee the technical work of junior and mid-level engineers, ensuring high-quality, code-compliant solutions
• Manage client relationships and act as the technical point of contact throughout project life cycles
• Support the development of project proposals, resourcing plans, and fee estimates
• Coordinate with other MEP disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient project integration
• Provide expert input into electrical systems design including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and containment strategies
• Ensure projects align with relevant building regulations, codes, and client standards
• Participate in internal design reviews, QA/QC procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical development
• Promote sustainability and innovation in all project phases

Experience:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (BEng / MEng or equivalent)
• Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in building services / M&E design, preferably with exposure to data centres, critical systems, or large commercial projects
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including HV/LV systems and resilience planning
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools
• Demonstrated experience in client liaison and project leadership
