Job Description :

Overview:

This role involves working closely with the Building Consultancy Team to support the delivery of planned works, commissioning of Long Term Asset Replacement Plans, managing permit-to-work systems, and overseeing PPMs to ensure buildings are operated in a proactive, compliant, and responsible manner. The role requires alignment with service charge budgets and property strategies while ensuring adherence to CDM Regulations and maintaining open communication with clients and occupiers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on and support the execution of planned maintenance and refurbishment works.
  • Commission and oversee Long Term Asset Replacement Plans.
  • Ensure the implementation of effective permit-to-work systems and monitor planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations, CDM Regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure service charge budgets are aligned with asset plans and that client and occupier communication is effectively managed.
  • Monitor statutory and internal compliance, arrange audits and assessments, and coordinate with service partners on documentation and systems.
  • Maintain all required control documents, building logbooks, and digital management systems in accordance with industry standards (e.g. RICS, ISO) and statutory/insurance requirements.
  • Authorise and review supplier payments, and prepare and submit funding requests to clients.
  • Support due diligence processes related to building and site acquisitions, ensuring all activity aligns with relevant legislation and best practice.
  • Read, interpret, and apply lease terms and related documentation to ensure occupier compliance, including maintenance obligations, licences to assign, alterations, and applications.
  • Lead and manage team members effectively, ensuring alignment with company values and expectations.
  • Foster strong relationships with occupiers through the implementation of customer experience frameworks, occupier engagement activities, placemaking initiatives, and retention strategies.
  • Manage the smooth onboarding and offboarding of property instructions, including coordination with external stakeholders and overseeing any TUPE processes where required.
