They all work together to keep one another learning and growing, and their clients informed.As an Associate Director you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of SME owner managed business clients, and overseeing the day to day client management as well as any bookkeeping, compliance and advisory activities for these clients.You will be confident in your preparation of year end accounts and corporation tax returns, and in your client communication (both external and internal), and a lover of all things cloud accounting.Speaking of cloud, as a Xero Gold Champion Partner, a solid foundation in the software is a must, although they do have clients using all sorts of other platforms – they adapt to their needs, providing they’re sensible.You will be ACA/ ACCA Qualified, or Qualified by Experience, with a minimum of 6-10 years’ experience in a quality practice, strong tax knowledge and commercial experience.Your commercial approach and advisory experience will stand you in good stead, helping their clients succeed, and spotting opportunities to help them grow and vice versa.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES-Accountability for a portfolio of circa £500k recurring business-Reviewing BK, VAT, Year-End Work-Managing and running client meetings-Running and managing client remuneration and tax planning opportunities-Delivering advisory services to clients as required-Support the Digital Solutions and MD Team to drive through new systems, software and processes-Upsell bookkeeping and advisory to clients and upskill the team to do the same-Introduction and implementation of appropriate software to enhance their service and offer:-:Management and development of key individuals-:New Business Winning – converting leads to clients-:Networking to generate new business opportunitiesSUMMARYIf you are an amazing accounting/ client manager and manager of people, looking for an opportunity to put your mark on and shape the future of a small, but fast growing, client focused, caring company then we would like to hear from you today.If you are ready for a fresh challenge with a wonderful, forward thinking, fast growing North West Accounting firm then please APPLY TODAY.This vacancy is being handled by Laura Banks – Kenton Black Finance.Kenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a marker leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
