The Role

A growing Financial Risk & Accounting Advisory team is seeking an Associate Director to deliver strategic risk management analysis to corporate and financial institution clients. The focus is on helping clients understand the impact of financial market risks, define risk tolerance across asset classes, and design optimal hedging strategies to meet their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver customised risk analysis on portfolios, balance sheets and cashflows (FX, rates, commodities, inflation, liquidity).
  • Partner closely with Sales and Product teams to identify opportunities and present risk management solutions.
  • Manage full front-to-back client projects: framing problems, quantifying risks, preparing materials and presenting solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client Treasurers, CFOs and Boards.
  • Contribute to modelling frameworks and analytical tools to deliver best-in-class solutions.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, risk management strategies and regulatory developments.
  • Champion a strong control, compliance and risk culture.

Your Profile

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of FX, fixed income and commodity markets/products.
  • Understanding of corporate finance concepts, financial statements and common risk metrics.
  • Experience with financial modelling and risk measures.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Relationship-building track record and collaborative approach.
  • Programming knowledge desirable.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
