Assistant Treasurer - Goodman Masson : Job Details

What You’ll Do

As Assistant Treasurer, you’ll be responsible for a broad range of treasury and financing activities, including:

Cash Management & Liquidity

• Manage day-to-day banking relationships, account openings, and KYC exercises
• Lead cash pooling and streamline bank account structures
• Ensure strong controls around bank payments and straight-through processing
• Deliver accurate cash reporting and forecasting (short & long term)
• Oversee bank reconciliations and working capital facility management

Debt Management

• Monitor covenant compliance and update financial models
• Prepare and coordinate waiver requests
• Update forecasts for funding cash flows
• Track interest rates and benchmark transactions
• Support the Project Finance Associate

Financing & Risk Management

• Oversee trade facilities (LCs), guarantees, inter-company financing and dividends
• Coordinate quarterly financial risk reviews
• Manage exposures and hedging across interest rates, FX, and inflation
• Support hedge accounting activities

What We’re Looking For

• Strong academic background, with a degree in a technical discipline
• ACT, ACA or CFA qualified would be an advantage
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience
• Skilled stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills
