Assistant Shipping Manager - HR GO Recruitment : Job Details

Location: Wirral Salary: NEG DOEContract: Full-time, PermanentHours: Mon-Fri Office hours

• Manage international shipments (air, sea, road)
• Supervise packing team
• Prepare shipping documentation
• Ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams
• Use ERP/WMS systems for tracking and reporting

• 5+ years in shipping/logistics
• 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of freight methods (FTL, groupage, parcel)
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (Navision preferred)
• Strong understanding of customs documentation, Incoterms, Brexit procedures
• Familiarity with UK HMRC rules
