Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Full Training)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Progression + Training + Take Home Vehicle + Company Bonus + Award Winning

Are you an aspiring Quantity Surveyor who wants to upskill themselves and build their career working on an exciting pipeline of projects with a long-standing reputable company?

Do you want to up-skill yourself working closely with the long serving Contracts Manager who will provide best-in-class training, developing an impressive portfolio with an award-winning company, gaining specialist contracting knowledge and eventually develop as a fully-fledged Quantity Surveyor?

You will specialise with refurbishments on commercial, heritage and civil projects and build an impressive resume by playing a key part within their company.

In this role you will be working closely with the Contracts Manager, assisting in the pre-contract phase with tending and estimating support through to the post-contract phase tracking costs and variations, all while managing subcontractor accounts and regularly attending their sites to develop and upskill yourself.

The ideal candidate will have experience within costing and estimating, have a full UK driving license and be based in Birmingham.

THE ROLE

• Working closely alongside their Contracts Manager
• Attending sites regularly to assist with valuations and reports
• Manage subcontractors and compile pricing documents
• Commute to London on occasion
