Assistant Quality Manager - Jonathan Lee Recruitment : Job Details

Due to an internal business change, an Assistant Quality Manager is required for a manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. The hiring manager would ideally like someone with experience from the Aerospace industry overseeing Aerospace projects, and experience working to AS9100 standards would be highly advantageous. In return for your experience, this business will offer you an annual salary up to £40,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

As an Assistant Quality Manager, you will oversee a team of up to 10 staff within the quality department and report directly to the Quality Manager. You will also act as a Quality Manager as or when the current Manager is away from the business. This hands-on role will involve using measuring equipment and working from technical engineering drawings.

As an Assistant Quality Manager, you will be required to:

• Ensure that the products meet the required customer standard
• Get involved with internal and external audits
• Complete paperwork for all your staff, including holiday requests, appraisals and disciplinaries where required
• Work closely with the Quality Manager.
