Assistant Production Manager - K2 Recruitment : Job Details

Our client is looking for an individual with managerial skills to join their team as an Assistant Production Manager. Within this position you will be overseeing the production process ensuring products are assembled correctly and ensuring high quality standards.

Working hours will consist of 07:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30-16:00 Fridays. Based in a rural location between Bicester and Thame.

Duties of the role:

• Ensure specifications are adhered to when assembling products.
• Manage all aspects of the production process.
• Monitor schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Put in place and maintain quality control measures.
• Work from CAD drawings.
• Collaborate with design engineers.
• Train staff on safety protocols and standards.
• Support with production and assembly as required.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.

You must:

• Have up to date knowledge of Fabrication Camduct and AutoCAD LT while being able to produce and work from CAD drawings.
• Display previous experience of having worked within sheet metal manufacturing and being able to weld and use relevant hand tools.
• Be able to use an Armada press brake and Swiftcut CNC Plasma cutter.
• Demonstrate excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Show good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Be committed to producing high quality work.
• Have previous managerial experience.

This is a crucial role within the company offering £33,000 per annum plus benefits to include, birthday day off and free parking. You must have a full UK Drivers Licence and access to your own transport due to the location of the role.
