Assistant Portfolio Manager

Bridging Finance

London – Hybrid

We are looking for a candidate with Bridging Finance experience, to join a fantastic London based lender as an Assistant Portfolio Manager. This role would be perfect for someone who is a Case Manager, looking for their next step.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide full support to the Bridging (Short-Term Lending) team with duties including but not limited to;
  • Case Management - Manage loan cases sub £200,000 from inception to closure including all customer contact
  • Maintain and update the Master spreadsheet and STL manager system to ensure accurate data tracking.
  • Manage STL system for redemptions to provide weekly data on redemption figures and loans that have redeemed
  • Create and issue Welcome Letters and manage case setup processes.
  • Handle customer administration requests and support Portfolio Managers.

Qualifications and experience

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to review and disseminate information received to accurately provide support and documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in servicing customer accounts, ideally within the bridging finance sector or a similar financial services environment.
  • High level of accuracy in all work, particularly in processing customer requests and maintaining customer records.
  • A track record of delivering exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on meeting customer needs and expectations.
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks in customer accounts and inquiries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Salary : 35000 - 40000
