Job title: Assistant Marketing Analyst Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 Location: Chester, CH1 Hybrid Working: Yes, wfh Monday & Friday Start date: ASAP Contract: 12 months (Maternity cover) Parking: No, but public parking and a % reimbursed My client, a well-established company with a portfolio of successful brands, is seeking a Assistant Marketing Analyst to join their reputable Marketing Retentions Team on a contract basisPurpose of the Role: To help increase repeat bookings . This role will focus on improving the customer journey, driving engagement and sharing insights that support better business decisions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Use customer data to identify opportunities for improving retention
  • Create and run campaigns for different customer groups (e.g. new, active, lapsing, lapsed, non-bookers)
  • Track campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Recommend target customer segments for direct mail, email and outbound call campaigns
  • Work closely with the Client Engagement Manager to gather and share customer feedback
  • Review and improve customer journeys to increase leads and conversion
  • Build and manage automated email campaigns to generate leads, support sales, and build customer relationships
  • Collaborate with the Digital Acquisition team to share insights that support new customer growth
  • Work effectively across the marketing team and with other departments
  • Ensure all communications align with brand guidelines and provide a consistent customer experience
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Experience using customer data platforms (SCV)
  • Knowledge of customer retention and lifecycle touchpoints
  • Interest in customer behaviour and insights
  • Background in email and digital marketing with a understanding of performance metrics
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience working with external partners and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High attention to detail, with strong time management and organisational skills
  • Proactive, customer-focused, and forward-thinking
