Are you an experienced audit professional looking to take the next step in your career within a supportive and forward-thinking accountancy practice? We’re working with a highly respected firm who are looking to appoint an Audit Senior or Assistant Manager, depending on experience.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to lead on a mix of audit and corporate accounts assignments for a diverse client base. It would suit someone who enjoys client interaction, autonomy, and the chance to develop their leadership skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead or assist on statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion
Prepare and review corporate year-end accounts for limited companies under FRS 102 and 105
Liaise with clients throughout engagements to ensure smooth delivery and resolve queries
Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing support and feedback
Identify potential areas to add value to clients through additional services or process improvements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical standards and regulatory changes
Requirements
ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist (qualified by experience also considered)
Recent practice experience, including exposure to audit and accounts preparation
Good working knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and audit standards
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident managing client relationships and working independently when needed
