Assistant Management Accountant - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyHays are pleased to be working with a large retail business, who are on the lookout for someone to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.Your new roleAs an Assistant Management Accountant, your duties will include:

• Daily reconciliations for stock movements within 200 retail stores, including, reconciling all stock booked in down to product level against invoices received.
• Analysing any anomalies that arise from reconciling.
• Accruals & Prepayments for period end accounts.
• Respond to enquiries via phone and email, escalating issues to the appropriate department.
• Data Entry for weekly reporting, and analysis of data received from stores.

What you'll need to succeedYou will have had experience in a similar accounting role which has involved handling large sets of data, reconciling, and being able to report/comment on any anomalies. This contract will suit anyone with a keen eye for detail, who has good experience of working with Excel. Previous experience within a retail setting would be desirable. What you'll get in return
