Assistant Management Accountant
- Annual Salary: £32-35k depending on experience plus benefits

We are supporting our client to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to oversee their finance functions. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely submission of all month-end tasks to support the business, making it crucial for our ongoing operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Approve payments in line with group policy, including payroll bank files.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations across four entities in three geographies.
- Manage full P&L and BS for European subsidiaries, liaising with local accountants regarding payroll and tax, and posting relevant entries.
- Provide insight and variance analysis on monthly P&L submissions for multiple entities.
- Raise intercompany recharges and reconcile intercompany balances month-on-month.
- Assist senior staff with both internal and external audit requirements.
- Support operations and commercial staff with ad hoc analysis as required.
- Handle accruals and prepayments.
- Participate in monthly review calls with HR, payroll, and project managers as a finance partner.
- Undertake any further duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Part-qualified or currently studying towards AAT, ACCA, or ACA.
- Experience with accruals, prepayments, accrued & deferred revenue, and project accounting.
- Ability to manage multiple entities and P&Ls.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess a driving licence as the location is not easily accessible by public transport.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with internal and external audits.
- Knowledge of VAT.
- Experience in CSO business.
