Assistant Management Accountant - Exact Sourcing Ltd : Job Details

Our client in Newmarket is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant for their Newmarket Office. Whether you are partway through your AAT or want to start studying for the AAT qualification, this role is a fantastic opportunity to join a unique and exceptional team.

You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate accounts function for a varied client base. Including Management Accounts, bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns.

Working with their supportive team, you will receive fully funded training to progress in the role, with excellent opportunities for internal promotion and development.

The role includes a study package to initially study for the AAT qualification, with opportunities for further study to a Chartered/ Certified Accountant if desired. All study is provided under a fully-funded scheme.

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be:

• Bookkeeping for the preparation of Management Accounts
• Preparing VAT returns and Management Accounts
• Assisting clients with queries and providing exceptional customer support
• Reviewing Desktop client records and updating as required
• Onboarding clients

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will have:

• Experience within an accountancy role
• Exceptional IT and accounting software skills with the ability to work with cloud-based technologies
• Excellent communication in a customer-facing environment
• A Proactive attitude and being adaptable
• Great attention to detail
